01

Design system first

Built the design system before any product screens, thereby using the spacing to guide the visual infrastructure. This created the foundation for consistent, accessible, scalable delivery at speed.

02

Parallel with engineering

Ran design and engineering in tight parallel to hit a six-month window without sacrificing quality or compliance. We created three squads to divide the work thematically and encourage close collaboration. This kept handoff friction low and reduced rework as the product took shape.

03

AI as a first-class product decision

Defined the human–AI interaction model early as a core product experience. This shaped how users communicate and interact with the Astra in detail-oriented high-stakes legal workflows.
